Chicago police said a male of unknown age was found dead on train tracks on the CTA’s Blue Line on Saturday morning.
Responding officers found the male lying on tracks in a train tunnel just after 10 a.m. in the 5400 block of the Eisenhower Expressway, police said. Police didn’t say whether the male was struck by a train or suffered any other trauma.
The male was pronounced dead at the scene and an autopsy was scheduled for Sunday.
Illinois State police assisted Chicago police with lane closures on the eastbound Eisenhower and Cicero Avenue, authorities said.
